A Few Kind Words

Being from Cincinnati my wife and I did not know much about Maine, besides how beautiful it was. We picked Katherine as our wedding planner, because how professional she was in her emails and on the phone. After telling her everything we wanted she suggested a few places and one of those places was Pemaquid Point. We flew to Maine a year before our wedding to meet With Katherine and to see Pemaquid Point. We fell in love with the spot and that’s where we got married! Katherine was a huge help with helping us plan and who to contact. If an issue came up Katherine was there to help. If we had to do it all over we would choose Katherine again.

At the time, we were trying to navigate doing a wedding at a place we had never been. I had seen pictures of Acadia National Park and knew that was the place to do it.. but never stepping a foot in Maine made it seem like a crazy task. Lets pile the legal stuff on top of it as same-sex marriage was legal there, but not our home state of Texas at the time as well.

Well Katherine was a huge help. She helped us customize everything to make this small ceremony feel like a very easy and natural process for us. She recommended great places to have a celebratory dinner afterwards as well as recommended places for us to go while we were going to be in Maine for the first time. She helps us find someone to officiate for us and direct us around the legal paperwork for the state. We’ll always recommend her to folks that are looking to do a wedding up that way.. no matter how big or small!

All I can say is that we totally lucked out in partnering with Katherine! We are not from Maine but fell in love with it’s breathtaking landscapes based solely on pictures and research. We did know enough to know we would need a top notch wedding coordinator. Katherine was a Godsend! She listened to our story and took the time to get to know us (all over the phone since we live 2000 miles away). Based on our talks she was able to suggest the perfect location, Officiant (Andrea was awesome), flowers, and lots of “little” details we hadn’t thought of. She even helped me, the groom, with a wedding day surprise for my bride to be. Our destination wedding was amazing and more importantly there was little to no stress. We really were able to enjoy the whole experience! If you are looking for a collaborative wedding coordinator with great local knowledge - Katherine is it!

Fabulous!! We decided to get married while on vacation in Maine. With such short notice Katherine was able to still coordinate everything we asked for and more. She was very detail oriented and kept in touch with me down to the minute before our ceremony. Katherine truely cares about her clients and goes the extra mile to not only make sure you are happy but also to make sure you get everything you possibly wanted. She is great with finding alternatives in a time crunch and is very reasonable in her price. We could not have done it without her, nor would we of wanted to!

Katherine’s fantastic!! We decided to elope last minute to Acadia National Park and Katherine helped plan everything with only 10 days notice. Katherine helped every step of the way. She assisted with getting a license from the Town Clerk, she recommended vendors (who turned out to be above and beyond), she offered suggestions on ceremony locations and she helped me with all of my questions that came up on the days leading up to our ceremony. My flowers were absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. My cake was delicious and Katherine even coordinated with the florist and the baker because I wanted my cake decorated with the same flowers in my bouquet. Both the wedding officiant and the photographer that Katherine recommended were wonderful and professional. Katherine was a pleasure to work with and checked in frequently with suggestions and updates. She timed everything perfectly and I was able to truly enjoy my wedding day without worrying about any details. Katherine had everything taken care of. My day would absolutely not been the same without her!! I would not change a thing. If you are looking for someone to help with your special day, you can’t go wrong with Katherine :)

Our wedding day began in a most romantic way… we grabbed coffees and arrived in time to watch a picture perfect sunrise on “our special day.” Our ceremony later that afternoon was almost fairy-tale like overlooking calm seas and brilliant blue skies. Everything was beautiful and breathtaking! We were so happy and absolutely couldn’t have done it without your help! Thank you again and again.
